Inglenorth Wins Best New Partnership at the Sefton @ Work Star Awards
Inglenorth is pleased to announce that we have won the Best New Partnership award at this year’s Sefton @ Work Star Awards. The award recognises our commitment to inclusive recruitment and our work to support local people into employment.
Our partnership with Sefton @ Work began earlier this year, focusing on creating accessible routes into work and helping jobseekers learn more about opportunities within the demolition industry. As part of this, our Health & Safety Manager, Tracy Marsh, delivered an employment session for Sefton @ Work participants. The session provided information about ongoing projects, the roles available at Inglenorth and what applicants could expect from working with us. Following this event, two participants joined our team, demonstrating the value of working closely with local employment services.
None of this progress would have been possible without the support of Vinci Building UK, whose involvement played an important part in making these opportunities a reality. We are grateful for their contribution and continued support.
Winning the Best New Partnership award highlights the practical steps we continue to take to make our recruitment process more inclusive. By working directly with Sefton @ Work, we have been able to reach a wider range of candidates, offer clearer information about our job opportunities, and support individuals with different levels of experience as they move into new roles. This approach has strengthened both our recruitment process and our connection with the local community.
Looking ahead, we are committed to continuing this partnership and building on the progress already made. Over the next year, we plan to deliver more employment and information sessions, develop additional opportunities, and continue improving the pathways that help individuals within the community access work with Inglenorth. This award confirms that our collaboration with Sefton @ Work is making a positive impact, and we are determined to keep developing this partnership.
